Here are a few pictures of my pride and joy!
More of my old bikes to follow sometime......................

Dave and Harley in Holland :-) Here is the bike I wanted since forever - a Harley-Davidson FLHTCU Electra-Glide Ultra Classic.  I got it on 17 June 2000 - a date to remember (happy birthday too, Anne!)  This one was made in 1995.

Ok, so it's not fast, it doesn't handle brilliantly and it's heavy.  But does it feel good to ride and have class by the ton?  Yep, that's for sure!

Biking to me has always been about so much more than getting from a-to-b as fast as humanly possible.   And this is one hell of an enjoyable and relaxing ride!! :-)

I don't have the words to express how little interest I have in the latest pieces of mega-fast road rocket!

Only Harleys from now on then......  :-) Rose on the Harley in Holland

Harley in Zierikzee

This photo was taken in Zierikzee, Holland in July 2000.  Our first holiday on the Harley!

How many things in life really live up to our expectations?  This bike DOES, and exceeds them!  It's everything I wanted and hoped for it to be :-)

I suppose I'll add more pics as and when I get time.

What else could this possibly be?  Nothing else looks, sounds or feels like a Harley!

Love them or hate them - they have a class of their own!

One loaded Wing Until June 2000, this was THE main bike.  It's a 1981 GL1100 Honda Gold Wing.  We had it for about 15 trouble free years.

Without this bike, we wouldn't have seen most of Europe, and done all the travelling we did for 15 years, so it deserves a big thank you!

I was very sorry to part-ex the Wing for the Harley.  It was a great bike for a long time.  But, I don't have either loads of money (even less now!) or garage space.

  In Ireland :-)

Dave and Triumph

Triumph T-140 custom bike I built myself in the 80s.  750cc Triumph engine, with belt primary drive, 8 inch over springer forks, custom made (Kooter Brown) hard-tail frame, one-off (Kooter Brown) fishtail exhausts.  It sounded and felt great!

Lack of space forced me to sell it to a great friend, so I am still able to see my baby :-)

More Triumph pics, circa mid 80s Rose and Triumph

An old BSA C15 from the early 60s I had many years ago.  Wish I still had it!

Suzuki GS1000 - a superb bike!

Honda CB500-T  My first 'big' bike.  We went all over the place on this one!
