I live with Rose in a town in the county of Cheshire, England.  Personally, I hate this depressing chav-town town and plan to leave asap and live somewhere else much smaller, quieter and altogether more civilised.  The sooner the better!  A nice little village would do very nicely - just somewhere quiet to belong to.  But we dearly love our house and garden, and wish we could just pick it up and put it somewhere else, better!

However, our county of Cheshire has some very lovely parts, and is convenient for travelling to many other scenic parts of the UK.

Music has always played a bit part in my life.  Since I was about 12 I have listened to the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Neil Young, and most of  the blues greats.  The older I get, the more I go back to the Blues - increasingly, the old-time Blues.

I have also loved Indian sitar music for many years and have been lucky enough to see both the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar and his amazingly talented daughter, Anoushka Shanker play live in concert.
